Collapsible Bridge

Mechanism of the bridge is very simple. It works with only four hydraulic drives without additional servo-mechanisms in bogie pivots. The individual segments link by means of latches on the underside. Therefore, the whole construction looks during the transitional phase like girder stuck on both ends, which enables higher load capacity than console distribution of the individual segments.Bottom part of the metal girder is inspired by veins of leafs and enables usage of distributing plates with lower thickness. This provides the construction with very light appearance.
