Pneumobil

Pneumobil is designed with regard to its manufacturing, weight, price and, above all, functionality of all project. After considering the budget, composite variant has been rejected and kömatex plates have been chosen as construction material. Since kömatex has been chosen, shape of chassis is patterned on flat surface with minimum radius on edges. Triangular surfaces resemble shape of stealth technology utilized e.g. in plane F-117. Shape of bodywork of the pneumobil is designed with regard to all functionality requirements of designers as change of bottle with compressed air or accesability of all components as brakes, piston rod, valves etc. Bonnet is made of carbon fabric which is laminated with colourless resin. Under the bonnet, interhotter I located (heater of the compressed air) and sun rays heat air set and increase its pressure. Carbon laminate is also located in the back part of the bodywork which serves as wheel well of back wheels, where it completes notional centre of the bodywork and continues to front carbon bonnet. Bonnet comprises four parts, and it is possible to dismantle only particular parts and possibly exchange damaged parts for new ones. Pneumobil took 2. Place for its construction and design in the Hungarian company Bosh Rexroth 2012.
